The children were super excited about today's insect.
Today we discussed the Stag Beetle.
I had a surprise for them. I brought in an actual stag beetle for them to take care of.
The children took turns observing the beetle and then helped get him comfortable in his new home.
I already have many boys who are experts in stag beetles and they were explaining to their friends how to care for them.

For math, the children rolled a dice as they race to get to 10 to see which insect they landed on.
